If you want video extraction, you're in the wrong place... we don't talk about that here. If you want to use TiVo's Video Out with your PC, all it takes is cables and the right video card.

i'm not sure what you mean.

I'm not really a tech guy. I guess what I'm asking is if there is a way to view my tivo programing on my home pc via my wireless network. I'm guessing since I can beam my music and pics to my tivo, why can't i beam my tv programing to my computer? is there a way to do that? is this some sort of illegal activity or something? i paid for the tivos. i paid for the subscirption. i paid for the network and the home media option. doesn't seem like a big deal to me. can anyone help me out with this or point me in the right direction. i'm not trying to use my computer as an additional tivo, i'd just like to be able to send select programs to my networked computer.

As martinp13 mentions, you're talking about video extraction which is not allowed to be discussed in this forum. TiVo does not officially condone the movement of video from TiVo to any other media except the VCR (hence the "Save To VCR option).

That being said there are many other resources outside of this forum that will point you in the right direction with regards to what you would like to do.
