Sony SAT-T60 remote not controlling sony reciever

This is really bizarre, I have a Sony SAT-T60 D-TIVO and a Sony DA90ESG receiver and I cannot get the Tivo remote to control the volume on my receiver. None of the "canned" codes in the manual work, can anyone help???

It works my Sony STR-DE925 perfectly....but it does not work when switch is on "TV"...the switch has to be on SAT....if you program control of the TV first (with switch on SAT...press TV and TiVo button for 5 seconds), then program the receiver (press Mute and TiVo Button for 5 seconds), it should work...
You can also program the TV, then the receiver both on the TV button (with switch on SAT)...and the TV button powers your TV and Receiver on/off.
