For those interested:

This seems to be a status quo for most USA series but it seems when you create an SP for "Touching Evil" and ask to record new episodes, it doesn't actually pick up the show. The two-hour pilot airs Friday at 9:00/8:00c with episodes regularly airing Fridays at 10:00/9:00c beginning next week.

I missed the first few (first run) Monks for the same reason. Fortunately, I caught "Touching Evil" up front.

Anybody know what USA's problem is?

It's a problem with DirecTV and how they feed the data not USA as the USA guide data is perfect for SA and on their own website.

Thanks for the heads up or I would have missed this, plus it does run like Monk as it does not say when it aired so I had to use first run and repeats to catch the episodes.

Just called DTV about Touching Evil. Again they say they are unaware of it and that enough people are not calling in to "escalate" it. They urged me to spread the word.. "call them, let them know each show, how long you've had the problem, etc. and to call back once a month to check the status of the problem. CALL!! CALL!! CALL!! 1-800-531-5000 follow the prompts to "tech support". They sound more than willing to fix it, they even understand it is just with DTV and not stand alone TiVo.. they just need more users calling in about it.
