Coupling s4e1 BBC3 broadcast "Nine and a Half Minutes" (Possible Spoilers)

Just aired on BBC3 earlier. Those of us in the states have to wait until June to see it on BBCA. Well, the internet is cool From a laugh out loud funny standpoint it isnt the best but it's also not bad either. Definately has good moments. On the creative side it's brilliant. The entire episode takes place over nine and a half minutes at the bar, from three different POVs. While you go through the same nine and a half minutes three times, it is different than Woman With Two Breasts because there are three intertwining stories going on at the same time with different details being filled in on each only via the POV switching. My only real problem was that Oliver's scenes slowed things down a bit. It's not unexpected though, we need to get to know the character. I'm definately looking forward to the season though.

I can't wait to see the new season. I got hooked late but have now watched every one. I've nervouse about Oliver, but I think the writing should be good enough to make the switch.

Does anyone know why Jeff isn't on the show anymore? I don't really like Oliver...he's a little too much like Jeff, only not as good.

I thought I heard it was just becuase he didn't want to be on it anymore. Don't think it was money or anything.

Unfortunately the actor that played Jeff left the series and won't be back. There was news about it in the past, you can search Google for same.

They should've locked him into a longer contract.

I saw this episode earlier this week sometime, and it was fine, but it will be interesting to see how the season progresses - and whether the US version sapped some of the energy from the UK one.

Just watched this one - I thought it was pretty funny as usual. They are really good with these "clever" episodes where they do stories from different points of view and such.

I thought Oliver was good. I'll miss Jeff but I didn't hate Oliver at all.

How long is this season? The typical 6?
