Odd TiVo behavior

This isn't really that annoying, but I did notice it the other night. The History Channel is getting to the end of its run of China Beach reruns. My wife and I hadn't watched it in awhile (never had the time.) Anyway, we watched an episode which appeared to be the last one (McMurphy in 1977 with Dodger in Montana.) Anyway, my wife remembered that the final episode was different. When I went to season pass manager, and chose view upcoming episodes, it said there were none. However, there was an episode in the to do list for today, which seems to be the final episode my wife remembered. Kind of odd, season pass manager telling me there are no upcoming episodes, but there is an episode in the To Do List.

I thought you were going to say it rearranged one of the episodes in reverse chronological order. Remember that episode? It kept showing stuff and then it would say "Earlier". I thought it was a bold concept, but kind of annoying.

I don't know if this is the same thing, but I had no upcomming episodes for a season pass because the new episodes were on a different channel. It took me a bit to figure that out and I changed the season pass to a wishlist to get them all.

The last episode hasn't aired yet - it's "Hello-Goodbye" a 2-parter on this upcoming Friday/Monday. The whole last season takes place largely after the main characters have all left China Beach with a bunch of flashback scenes (including before season 1 and after the last season).

View upcoming shows episodes for me. Maybe you caught it at the exact time it was indexing that channel? Another thing to look out for is that the pilot is not considered part of the show by TiVo, it's considered a separate movie. Several shows are like that.
