Thank you TiVo community (Scott C/TivoMad/Kazymyr/Tridge/9th tee)

I've finally completed upgrading my 2 drive 30 hour TiVo to a single drive (Western Digital) 60 hour w/TiVonet. A few comments:

The hardest of all of these was the TiVonet. The easiest was the TivoMad. (Who would have expected a hack with simple questions?)

I selected a single 60gb drive because I wanted to avoid stuttering (single drive, not 80/100gb because of heat concerns) and wanted to get the most bang for my buck (the +60 hour "tax").

Special thanks to Scott C who helped me out when I screwed up my MFS and opened the door for me to go with a storage upgrade by providing me a single drive image.

So, I'm saving my "A" drive as a backup in case I want to add another drive later. And the "B" drive I've added to my PC for additional storage.

PS: Kaz -- Your CDROM was an incredible help. Thank you for making everything (TivoNet/TivoMad/backups) more convenient!

Agreed!

The Tivomad hack sets the standard, I'm working on a PAL hack (purely implementing tridge's stuff, not enhancing it or anything, I know my limitations ) that hopefully will be as simple.
