Question Wrong Time (Hour Slow)

Okay so this really dosent have to be posted in the underground, and I am sure I am going to feel stupid when the simple solution is posted, but when putting a virgin image on my new 80gig hard drive I must have (like the retard I am)picked the wrong time zone or something because it is an hour too slow. Can this be fixed in 2.0 without going through that whole 3 hour ordeal? Thanks!

If there is a way to do it, it will probably take longer to set up and all than re-running guided setup. The first guided setup does take about 3 hours, subsequent ones cut that time down to about 40 mins to an hour. Unless you do a factory reset. I had to rerun guided setup many, many times while waiting for a lineup change, and they went rather quickly

Actually as long as you force a daily call first, guided setup takes almost no time. In 2.0, forcing the daily call isn't even required. We're talking 5-15 minutes.

Does TiVo ask your time zone? I don't recall...

However, if I remember correctly, doesn't Indiana vary from Central to Eastern depending on the locale?

I'm not sure, but maybe TiVo guesses your Time Zone based on zip code that you enter...

It does ask what time zone you are in. I can't remember for certain, but I think that is one of the things set in guided setup.

Good tip regarding forcing the daily call.

Yes, it asks for time zone, and it even asks if your location obeys daylight savings time in the screen after it.
