Craig's TiVo hacks

Reposted; UUB ate my first version...

I've put together a small collection of binaries I've built for the TiVo on Craig's TiVo Page.

Included are ps, lsof, netstat, traceroute, micro_inetd and micro_httpd. The latter two allow you to get a simple web server up. I've run these binaries under both 1.3 and 2.0.

Also included in my version of the genhd.c patch. There should be enough information there to allow a kernel hacker to add TiVo filesystem support to a regular linux system.

Have you successfully mounted the MFS partitions using this hack? If so, are you able to copy any of the MPEG files from it? If so, that would be a significant breakthrough...

I wasn't talking about mfs; the changes let you mount the TiVo/apple version of the ext2 filesystem.

I am running micro_inetd with micro_httpd and spooling output to /var/log/inetd, and it keeps crashing. Basically, the web server stops serving requests after a while. Here's my error message:
accept: Connection reset by peer

this is the line I have in my rc.sysinit.author:
/var/hack/web/micro_inetd 80 /var/hack/web/micro_httpd /var/hack/web/htdocs > /var/log/inetd 2> /var/log/inetd &

I also created an inetd.conf file (although I don't think I need one) with the line:
micro_http stream tcp nowait nobody /var/hack/web/micro_httpd micro_httpd /var/hack/web/htdocs

Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas?
