Restored A drive, Ok???

Sony svr2000:

Backed up original A to a WD 30g, everything fine same in /out using DD

added maxtor 60-great

in anticipation of 2.0 went to copy WD 30g to new lct15 30g, WD is a little larger and DD showed one less in than out....

installed new lct15 seems to work...anything I should check to be sure I am ok or is it ok because WD was larger and data was not from original A anyway???

I've searched....

You should be cool. If you knew what your original block count was, you could feel safe if your WD->lct15 block count was less. Many of us have used lct15 drives as backups, so I'm pretty confident that you are fine.
