I don't know -- don't use that product. However, if it doesn't send RF, I use the PowerMid from x10.com to send TiVo IR commands from the bedroom, no TiVo, to the living room, where the TiVo is. (I use a long coax cable to send audio/video from the TiVo to the bedroom TV.) The PowerMid works very well, but it's pretty sensitive to location, so it took me a while to get it set-up just right.
If you decide to try the PowerMid, here's a URL to save you some money. It's from an advertisement e-mail from x10.com. Expires Monday night (03/19). Works only once (i.e., once someone uses it, nobody else can use it). No, I have nothing to do with x10.com, and no, I don't get anything if people buy using this link; I'm just sharing a discount that I know I won't use.
