Password for clear and delete

Where on the drive is the password keept for "clear and delete everything" in the reset menu?

Answer: There is no "password". Select "Clear and Delete Everything" from the reset menu, read the description of what action it will take and verify that that's what you want done. If that is what you want done, do as the instructions tell you and press thumbs down three time and hit enter (or select, I forget).

Rebutle: There is on mine.

I suspect you have a DTiVo. Try the password you setup for you ratings.

When a DTivo's Parental Control password is set, it also protects the Reset Menu.

The password is stored on the DirecTV access card.

Here is a link to finding out what the password is. Don't know if this procedure still works... http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-v...ht=password+mfs

You can also try calling DirecTV. I believe they can reset the Parental Controls, if you can convince them to do it.
