Today Show/Sarah Jessica Parker/Tivo Mention

The manner in which Tivo was mentioned on the Today Show was, IMHO, very interesting. Sarah Jessica Parker was being interviewed about the season premier(s) Sunday night of her Sex and the City series, and the conversation turned to the fact that the two shows would conflict with the Tony Awards, which will be co-hosted by her husband, who is also up for an award. She was asked which program she would recommend viewers watch. She said (as I recall), rather offhandedly, that they ought to tape or Tivo SATC and watch the Tony Awards. The way she said it made me realize that Tivo really has penetrated the consciousness of, at least, those in the TV/entertainment industry, and has become a generic verb.

She and her husband, Ferris Bueller, I mean Matthew Brodrick, are both long-time TiVo users and big fans!

Ahha!!!! The truth finally comes out about why 2.01 added padding capability. SATC always got the last few minutes cut off before 2.01. And we thought it was because of massive user feedback.
