I have a Sony SAT T-60 and the other night I had to take it apart because of some technical difficulties and I noticed it had another power and drive hook up. Can I just add a second drive to it or does it require a lot of formating or technical stuff?

Not sure how you define "lots of formating and technical stuff", but it's not quite as easy as just plugging a second drive. Check out the posts at the top of this forum from Hinsdale and Weaknees for step-by-step instructions. Or you can buy preformated drives from them and other sources to make the job really simple.
