Shoot me but... I was thinking there was a way to keep track of buddy info. For instance, you have a buddy, joe1999 (fake), real name Frank (who knows why). If he puts this in his profile, you can find it there. But if he *doesn't*, you have no easy place to keep track of the ID vs actual first name except by searching for a post where he used a sig with that in it.

Or am I missing something? I thought the buddy list perhaps could help with this, but it appears to be strictly a plain list of user IDs....
