Now this is strange.......
TiVo usually records the repeat showing of Enterprise on Sky One on Saturday afternoons, so the other half can watch the second episode of Corrie on a Monday night.
Last night however, at about two minutes to eight, I decided to tell TiVo to record the first showing of Enterprise at 8pm with it being the season finale and all.
After doing this, TiVo appeared to be doing it's thing while I carried on watching the end of another recording. At approximately 8:15 when the other recording had finished I flicked to live TV and noticed that TiVo was not recording Enterprise, but was recording Big Brother's Eforum on E4+1.
At first I thought that TiVo had just missed a channel change, until I noticed that the TiVo banner contained all the programme details for Enterprise. The only thing that was out of place was the channel details.
Now Playing also indicated that TiVo thought it was recording Enterprise, but with the E4 logo on the right hand side instead of the Sky One logo. Selecting Enterprise from now playing revealed all of the correct guide data, with the exception of the channel details. Playing the start of the recording showed TiVo changing to channel 164 instead of 106.
A quick check in the TiVo TV guide showed me that the guide data was correct (i.e. Enterprise on Sky One and BB's Eforum on E4+1).
Now I do have a very low priority SP for BB's Eforum on E4+1, but it is much much lower that the SP for Enterprise, but I can't for the life of me work out why this happened, apart from the fact that I set the recoding very close to the start of the programme.
Anybody else ever encountered anything similar?
