Seven years into the parenthood thing and I still am not used to runny noses, sticky fingers, and drool.... Fortunately, he's mostly outgrown all three, but.... *shudder*
As for catching kid puke: I've never caught any. Would I? I dunno. My son has this ability to puke *INSTANTLY*. I mean, he'll be playing contently and then all of the sudden launch a salvo. No "Daddy, my tummy hurts," dry heaves, or any other sort of warning.... Just WHAMMO! Thus, even if I was willing to catch, there's never been time!
