Still no recording on exchange unit
Installed and set up exchange unit. Programmed movie to record. I am connected to Sat receiver with serial cable.
I watched the Sat receiver come on ,channel changed ok record light came on, pressed channel changer, asked me if I want to continue on this channel or stop recording. I continued of coarse so I know it was recording.. After recording,I went to now playing and nothing there. Checked recording history and stated that "not recorded,no signal avaliable"
TiVo support tells me that I have to leave the Sat receiver on that TiVo is not supposed to turn on the Sat receiver that it will only change channels. Guess that makes a liar out of them!!!
The old unit that I had would record same day programs but would not record following day programs again stateing " no signal avaliable" TiVo support advised me to exchange the unit and now I am back to square one.
Any Ideas PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
