Need pppd from TiVo 2.01

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the pppd from TiVo ver 2.01 or before.

What do you use to unzip/untar this file. I've tried gunzip unzip winrar tar.

gunzip works fine for me.

I dunno what's wrong. Gunzip on my Linux box tells me it's not a gzip format. tar xzvf also doesn't work. Winrar doesn't work and pkunzip doesn't work.

Oh well, thanks for the effort.

I was downloading the file with a windows machine and then saving to my linux computer via samba on my network. Somewhere in the translation is must have gotten mangeled. I downloaded it directly from my Linux computer and the file is fine.
