Aw, come on, I love the Vandals! They cute and cuddley just like Tivo is! Heck they even did a cover of the Spider Man theme song and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (sp?)!

That's a good name, cause they obviously vandalized the TiVo guy.

TiVo might try to intimidate them by threatening to sue, but it seems to me that I remember a "Bally Sucks" logo from a Bally complaint web site that looked exactly like the Bally Fitness logo, but it had the word Sucks across it. If my memory serves me (it sometimes doesn't), the case went to court and the Judge said that it was pretty obvious that it was different than the Bally's logo, So he threw it out. The funny thing is that Bally decided since they couldn't sue the guy they would buy him off. They ended up buying the site. The site stuck around for a while saying something like "This is the site that Bally uses for their customer complaints", but it eventually went away.

The Vandals are a punk rock band. They've been around forever. In the punk community, trademark parody on band shirts, stickers, zines, and other logos is very common. I've never heard of anyone getting sued over it, since most punk bands don't reach an audience of any real size. I wouldn't worry about it, no one keeps these logos around for long. Just long enough to think of something else
