Right now-

$89 - Cable and internet
$108.72 - DirecTV with Sunday ticket payment

Roommates subsidize the cost of the internet and cable since I can't run DirecTV to every room. My share comes out to about $125

Well we have RCN Cable, Cable Modem, and Phone, + the $13 monthly TiVo charge and it probably all totals to about $190 or $200. Hmmmm...why am I suddenly finding it uncomfortable to sit down?

Comcast cable/internet - I think we pay $9.95 per month for the HD box and DVR. We pay $0.00 for internet and cable service though. Free PPV too.

DSL is $34.95 before taxes.
My Tivo+DTV was $54.77 after taxes but I have it suspended for the next 3 months so it's $0.

If Time Warner asks me, my reply is that I didn't ask for HBO, and didn't know I was getting it.

Comcast Cable - Digital Plus w/HBO, Showtime, Starz, HDTV, Crappy HDTV PVR, 2nd HDTV Box and Internet - $135.00

Thinking about switching to DirecTV and Verizon DSL. The HDTivo will be $999.00 and I am also concerned about my Xbox Live performance on 768/128 DSL. I will lose HD Locals by going with DirecTV but I can get them with an antenna already installed.

I doubt that's a useful defense when you're being prosecuted for cable fraud...

I'm not kidding when I say I never ordered it - it just magically showed up one day.

TW cable complete package with 6 premiums, video on demand, and cable broadband, with one extra cable box for conflicts:

$121.

plus

Tivo: $12.95

Too much for home entertainment, but we never rent DVDs and rarely go out to movies...

I pay 24.95 a month for Earthlink Cable service through Time Warner. $49.95 in a couple of months.
I pay $0 for basic local channel only cable.
I have a Lifetime on my TiVo, so $0. But it was very expensive to set up in the first place.
Soon I'll be getting Directv, so it will go up about $50/month.

I like to try to keep all of those bills together less than $150 if I can. Preferably less than $100/month.

Make sure it doesn't magically appear on your bill as well.
