I'm not getting that message in my account info, so I guess a "progress" call to D* is in order in the next day or two.

instead of recording something in the 8 oclock time slot on chicago cbs i can wait and record it at 10oclock on the westcoast cbs. this lets me record two other programs in the 8oclock time slot...for a total of three programs recorded in the 8 colock slot. make sense?

HD Elegibility Update

Today I received my waiver from KGWN in Cheyenne. Very nice, polite, responsive! Except....

The waiver letter (from the GM herself) says,

"The following individual(s) are cases in which we have determined to have a degraded signal or a possible interference problem within our Grade B coverage area. We have concluded that this individuals(s) should be granted a CBS High Definition specific waiver by KGWN-TV."

Terrific, right? Wrong!

Then the call from D*,

"We have received the waiver from KGWN-TV in Cheyenne, but cannot grant you CBS-HD access due to the *specific High Definition* nature of the waiver. In order to grant you access, we must have a *general* waiver."

Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Round Two now underway.
