Excellent. Thanks RB, and a "tip of the cap" to the rest of the folks back at TiVo who made it happen. Cheers.

On Monday my Software version was 2.0.1-001-000
now it is 2.0.1-002-000

I am assuming this change has come down.

Stay tuned

I was one of the lucky 50 to get the patch last night and it appears to have restored the picture back to pre-2.0 days. I couldn't be happier with the results. The download was of normal length, and pending a restart, changed the version from 001 to 002.

Just curious. My tivo has software version:2.0.1-001-010, if I remember correctly. Does this mean anything compared to 000 (last digit) version. I assume not but just curious if it does.

And what is a "gold" version?

I think 2.01-001-000 is the normal 2.01 software..
sounds like the new one will have -002- in the middle.

I believe the last three digits indicate what platform you're on. 2.0.1-001-000 would be a Philips SA, 2.0.1-001-010 would be a Sony SA, etc...

The gold version is the release (i.e. non-beta) version.

That was a whole new download, not just a resource update. Thanks for rolling it, but a little warning would have been nice for those of us that like to fiddle inside.

Sniff.. No 002 for me either. (Should I rant and scream and whine? No, I don't think so...) It'll get here when it gets here.
