Since information is downloaded via phone line to our TiVos, it seems reasonable that we should be able to personalize the look of our TiVo onscreen interface. This would simply require the folks at TiVo central to create selectable themes such as: holidays, sports, colors, seasons, patterns, hobbies, animals, etc, that the user could choose and apply.
Who wouldn’t want to add that extra personal touch to their PVR?
With all due respect, I couldn't care less about this as a feature. Then again, I've never cared about customized faceplates or ring-tones that play the latest P. Diddy song for my cell phone either, and there seems to be a market for those.
