My new 40 hour unit shows "non available" and my older unit shows that it was last updated 6/21/04.

It is something that is downloaded via the Discovery Channel at 4:00AM on Monday. One of my boxes has not had this update for over 3 months. It is an alternative means to deliver information to shorten the daily calls, but the daily call is still required to decrypt the recording.

If you don't receive the discovery channel or your cable station pre-empts the teleworld broadcast you won't have a successful service download. Not a big deal, you may be missing the video for some of the yellow star promotions but not much else.

Will suggestions preempt the teleworld recordings? Both are somewhere at the bottom of the priority queue; just wondering which was lower.

Suggestions are lower in priority; they'll always yield to Teleworld recordings.
