Will I be able to use MRV between a non-hacked and sleeper hacked TiVo? Now that the HMO options are free and the reduced price of subscription for additional units, I purchased my second SA2 unit. The first is a 24004A version and the second is a 240040. Don't think that will make a difference, but thought I would include it.

Basicly, the second unit is for me to fool with and try my hand at hacking it. I don't see adding additional hard drives as really hacking the unit (have done this already with my first unit and will also with the second unit.) By adding the hacks that come with the Sleeper iso, will this cause problems with MRV and remote scheduling?

Adding sleeper's to your unit should not affect the HMO features and all should work as they did before. However there could be a problem if you turned encryption off on the sleeper'd unit, but I am not quite sure. Why not just give it a test and see
