Another TurboNet question

13 days ago I had my modem go out. So I decided to put in a TurboNet rather than get the external modem. But here is my problem.

The TurboNet installed fine, made the test call fine, up to the hanging up part. After letting it sit on that for about 10 min I pulled the power and started up and just told it to do the daily call. the call looked good all the way up to the hanging up part again. It had been hanging up for about 2 hours now.

My setup is a Sony Series 1 SA with the stock hard drive and an extra 80 gig drive. The unit has worked great for over 18 months in this config. I am using a Belkin cable/dsl router and it looks lie the TIVO is geting an IP fine.

Last question, does it matter that I still have a phone number in there, even though I have the prefix set to ",#401"?

Thanks for any help you can provide. My guide data runs out tomorow and this is premere month.

From bad to worse. After a day of no luck and my guide data running out I came up with the brilian idea of going through guided setup to see if that might jolt the TIVO into completing the call and hanging up.

BAD IDEA!!!!

Now I am stuck in the loop of booting, going through the guided setup, everything works up to the hangup part and then it just stops. If I pull the power it starts up and goes through the guided setup again. I can not get out of this.

Please give any advice that you can. Do I need to do a reload? If so does anyone have an image for a Sony 2000 that I can get?
