 Disabling "Thumbs Up" Button

I hate this remote that came with my Series 2!

Anyway, is it possible to disable the "Thumbs Up" button with a code? I keep hitting it while going back and forth between Guide and Ch up/dwn.

I may not notice it on the screen, and then find an Infomercial recorded...

Thanks for any ideas that do not involve buying a new remote.

O.K., I solved the problem by getting a razor blade and slicing the top half of the button off... It's now flush with the top of the remote.

The button will still work if I need it.
