I just got a spam e-mail this morning that linked to the following site. I checked it out and they are selling DirecTV systems for free and if you want one of the receivers to be a DirecTiVo, the charge is only $48. I thought that looked like a pretty good deal. I'm thinking of doing it myself. (Sorry if this is a pretty standard offer. I thought the current promo price was $99.)

Actually, certain URL's were banned from the forum. Some because they linked to questionable material, others from spamming, others because they were seen as ripoff artists.

And others seem to have been banned for no other reason than some forum sponsors complained that folks were being directed too frequently to other sites for good DTiVo deals.

Though I perfectly understand the concern over direct posting of referral codes, *****ing out Expert Satellite whole hog seems a bit strange given their good deals and good reputation with many TC members. That fact, combined with the fact that there was never an issue of an official Expert Satellite rep ever violating any advertising rules here makes the addition of Expert to the forum filter-out list a bit strange.
