restoring 4.0.1b image to S2 with 4.0.1
I have standalone S2 with 4.0.1b on it. It shipped with 4.0.1, and I only have a D-Link DWL-122 network adapter for it, so I had to run setup and download 4.0.1a at a friends before I hooked it up at home. I just bought another standalone S2, same model, with the same network adapter, and ran the setup at a friends, but forgot to make a call to get the software update. So it has 4.0.1 on it, which doesn't support the D-Link adapter.
Would it cause any issues to restore the 4.0.1b image from my older S2 to the one I just bought? I'm pretty sure it would be ok on my end. I'm mostly concerned with screwing up my account. I remember this being discussed a couple of years ago, but I couldn't find anything on it recently. Thanks.
Jason
