I subscribe to DirecTV in a Pagasus and have not yet converted my account directly to DirecTV. I have 2 DirecTV TiVo units and 4 directv boxes under contract and a HDTiVo which I have not yet opened.

I am moving to Park City, UT.

The buyer of my old home is buying the 4 directv units and will need to get a contact.

I am taking the TiVo units with me and the HD dDrecTV box with me.

Park City, UT which seems to be controlled by someone else -- DirecTV could not even tell me who, but there is a phone number in the white pages, which put me on hold and then hung up when I called.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of move or advise on the best way to do this move?

After calling the locally advertised number in Park City and getting transfered a couple of times, I was told this is a Pegasus area, then put on hold and soon hung up on -- not a surprise.

I then called DirecTV again -- this time new customer number rather then moving number -- and told they can provide service here and they would consider me a new customer.

Anyone moved from a Pegasus area to a DirecTV area who can confirm that they will consider me a new customer??

Strange, I am in Ogden and have always gone thru DTV directly.

Even after giving them the zip code, they wanted to know the county that seemed to be the key. Expect they only had some rural areas
