I have an unhacked TIVO Series 2 currently connected within my home network.

I don't have a VCR, and would like to begin saving what I have on my HD to my PC HD, so I could then begin burning them on CD as either SVCD or AVI files

Is that possible?

Any suggestions on where/what to read in the forum? thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, but:

A: The "underground" direct extraction methods cannot be discussed here.

B: The offically sactioned methis called Tivo2Go, is due out later this year.

C: You an always record the analog out with a capture device.

Thanks for the advise, Classicsat! Here's the exact problem, maybe someone can give me advise... or could refer me to any FAQ

I have an older TV/VCR combo, and my TIVO is connected via a Sony DVD/Receiver. When I attempted to transfer from TIVO to VCR, I did get video, but not audio.

I double & triple checked my connections as instructed on the manual, so I'm not sure how else to get this working.

If I have to wait for TIVO2GO, then I have to eventually move these programs over somehow...
