SA TiVO issues

Hi all,
I apologize if this is a common topic that has been discussed previously. I did a search and couldn't really narrow it down. One of my SA units started acting really weird. (I have 3 SA's and 3 DTiVo's) The unit is a Philips 114. I upgraded it to a second hard drive (80GB) a few months back. The unit seems to work fine......unless I try to use the remote. It is continuing to record season passes and buffers ok. (Note: I use my DSS remote to change channels and not the TiVO) The unit does not seem to accept the remote codes (Yes I have tried the other remotes). After a while it will decide to start accepting the remote codes but it seems to have buffered all the previous attemtps to use the remote. It then goes ballistic and tries to execute a bunch of instructions. I tried rebooting. It took a really long time to reboot. While it sat there I noticed that the 2 lights on the front are amber. This might be normal but I never paid much attention to it.
After it finally boots the lights go back to normal.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Dino

OK I found the problem and I am almost embarassed to admit it. I am replying only to avoid someone wasting time by attempting to diagnose my problem. Later that evening my wife (this is mainly the wife's TiVO) mentioned that other remotes (receiver, DSS) were acting funky. As soon as she said this I knew what the problem was. I went to the room and embarked on a search for other remotes. Sure enough under a stack of magazines was the remote for the TV and it had a button depressed. So this remote was blasting my room with an IR code that prevented me from getting in any of the TiVO buttons.
