Not when you add shipping and tax (for CA), but they may actually have the drive in stock, instead of Dell's "yes, we have it in stock, but we'll ship it in 3 weeks".

I've ordered two drive from Dell, the first one being on April 7, the second one being April 13. Neither have been shipped, and the earlier projected ship date is April 25. The first drive shipment has been delayed twice...

the third time is a charm....

Dell usually withholds taxes for small business purchasers, but does not for home customers (at least in NY/NJ).

Make sure you enter the Dell accessory store through the home storefront if you want to avoid withholding of sales tax. Be careful to use the correct coupons - they are sometimes different for Dell Small Business and Dell Home.

Dell seems to be pretty inconsistent on accessory shipping, especially for high demand items. I've had both delays in shipping as well as "accelerations" in shipping. I actually had a problem with an acceleration when I tried to cancel an order that wasn't projected to ship for another two weeks because I ordered it on another site. Of course, it had shipped between the last time I checked on my order status and when they received the request for cancellation.

 Maxtor unavailable at Dell - but...

The $158 Maxtor 5400/120GB deal at Dell is pretty much dead.
There are similar 120GB drives available both on the Dell site and elsewhere (check out other "120GB" threads on this board)...

I just got this notice from Dell...
