Where can I get full service DirecTivo + TurboNet/ TivoWeb upgrade installed?

Hi-

I am a newbie here that spends a lot of time on the AVS forum. I have a Hughes DirecTivo and I would like to get it upgraded with a TurboNet card, Tivo Web, and a second or larger hard drive. I would like to send it to someone reputable (or drop it off in the DC area) and get it back fully upgraded. I need to preserve my A drive data (season passes, etc..) and ideally would like to preserve my recordings as well. It would also be nice if I had a back up in case something goes wring down the line, but I am a Mac guy and not comfortable with the PC/ Linux world to do the upgrades myself. Perhaps it might be best to replace the A drive with a large one and keep my original as a back-up, but is there an upgrade service that will copy my info off the original A drive and put it on the new hacked one? What are my options? Thanks

For starters, try Weaknees.com or ptvupgrade.com. If my memory serves right, both offer full-service drive upgrades, and their sites should say what they can do for the other tweaks you're interested in.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the info, but those sites do not seem to have the TurboNet/ Tivoweb option for the Hughes DirtecTivo I have. Weaknees does not seem to mess with network cards at all, and it looks like PTVUpgrade will have one for the DirecTivo series one, but it is not out yet. Anyone know of a company or individual with a good rep that could do the Tivonet/ Turboweb and a HD upgrade for me now, ideally without losing the programs I already have?

Go to http://www.9thtee.com

They have everything you need. They won't install it for you but they have all of the parts.
